Payless buys Payless Shoes from administration,roger vivier online
Australia's largest independent shoe retailer,roger vivier shoes ourlet, Payless Shoes,merrell shoes on sale, has been saved from administration by the US-based Payless ShoeSource.
While the two companies had no previous business affiliation,roger vivier online, the administrators say the Australian retailer was modelled on its US counterpart,merrell shoes outlet, with similar store formats,merrell footwear, target customers and its focus on lower cost shoes.
It is paying an undisclosed amount to buy the 150-store Payless Shoe network in Australia,Giuseppe Zanotti shoes 2013, and is also offering positions to around 850 staff currently employed by Payless in its shops and head office on the same pay and conditions.
Australia's Payless was placed into voluntary administration on September 21 last year,Isabel Marant Perkins, with Deloitte partners Vaughan Strawbridge and David Lombe managing the business.
The sale occurred after the Deloitte administrators restructured the business,roger vivier pumps, and Vaughan Strawbridge says it shows struggling retailers can be turned around.
"In the space of six months,Isabel Marant shoes, Payless Shoes has been turned from an operation facing financial distress into a profitable business that has attracted a global buyer,Isabel Marant," he noted in a statement.
