Many retail clothing stores now have outlets that carry clothing lines made specifically for them. Some examples are Gap and Gymboree. I used to work for Gymboree and know for a fact that they take designs from the previous year (clothing sold in regular Gymboree retail stores) and reproduce them exactly, selling them in the outlet stores.
