Great Gujarati Author - Shri Harilal Upadhyay
Late Shri Harilal Upadhyay ((January 22,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 1916 - January 15, 1994) is considered as one of the Great Gujarati Authors found ever. He have contributed more than a 100 Books to the Gujarati and hence Indian Literature.
His work includes Historical Novels,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Social Novels, Short Stories & Short Story collections, Biographies of well famed larger than the life characters, Children special book to rotate them towards ethics,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], The notable Mahabharat catena, Columns & reg code stories in newspaper papers, Poems & Poetries and many more...
Historical Novels:
As we all know Indian society is classified into 4 VARNAs. Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra. Most of the historical novels are based on the tales of Kshatriyas; merely all the VARNA's folk also are weaved very perfectly there.
The challenge faced when writing a historical novel is you must stick to the real historical events in an hand and on the other you also have to make it legible and enjoyable. It requires great writing skills and of way a very deep & tough research of history.
Kshatriya can further classified into 3 streams
1. Suryavansh
2. Chandravansh
3. Agnivansh
The book "ShauryaPratapi Chandravansh" must be labeled on the top of all the hsitorical novels by late shri harilal upadhyay. It can be considered as the encyclopedia of chandravansh. It covers the historical & social memorabilia from very archaic era to the modern time (in regards of chandravansh of course).
